2.2, IPX7~ IPX8: Short-term/continuous immersion (such as 1 meter water depth for 30 minutes or more stringent conditions);

4. IP dust and water resistance test method:
1. Dust test method:
1.1, Dust box test: Place the equipment in a closed dust box to simulate a sand and dust environment with a specific concentration and wind speed;
1.2 Vacuum test: Use negative pressure to detect whether dust penetrates into the equipment.
2. Waterproof test method
2.1, dripping test (IPX1/IPX2): Simulate a dripping scene vertically or tilted at 15°;
2.2, Spray test (IPX3/IPX4): Swing pipe or handheld sprinkler spray water from multiple angles;
2.3, high-pressure injection (IPX5/IPX6): 12.5L/min or 110L/min water injection;
2.4, Water immersion test (IPX7/IPX8): Soak in 1 meter water depth for 30 minutes or more.

1. Determine test requirements: Select the target IP level based on product type and usage scenario;
2. Select a testing institution: a third-party laboratory with CNAS/CMA qualifications;
3. Sample delivery preparation: Provide 3-5 unpacked complete machines and technical data (such as design drawings and instructions);
4. Implement the test:
4.1, dust test (such as dust box, vacuum test);
4.2, waterproof test (select spraying, soaking and other methods according to grade);
5. Result determination: If there is no water or dust inside the equipment, it is passed;
6. Issue a report: The laboratory provides a certification report containing test parameters and conclusions.
