On June 14, 2023, the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) officially announced the inclusion of 4,4-dichlorodiphenylsulfone and diphenyl (2,4,6-trimethylbenzoyl) phosphine oxide in the 29th batch of SVHC candidate list. So far, the SVHC candidate list of substances has increased to 235.

According to the requirements of EU REACH regulations, manufacturers of products exported to Europe containing more than 0.1% SVHC must fulfill their information transmission obligations. If the export volume of the SVHC exceeds 1 ton/year, SVHC notification should also be made. In addition, starting from January 05, 2021, products exported to Europe containing more than 0.1% SVHC should complete SCIP notification before being put on the market.
