1. Starting from August 1, 2023, the designated certification body will begin to accept CCC certification commissions for newly incorporated products, and carry out certification work in accordance with the “Implementation Rules for Compulsory Product Certification Information Technology Equipment” and the applicable standards listed in the annexes; from August 2024 Starting from August 1, those who have not obtained CCC certification certificate and marked with certification marks may not be factory, sold, imported or used in other business activities. The list of newly included product designated certification bodies and laboratories will be announced separately.
　　
2. See the annex for the definition of the CCC certification scope of newly incorporated products. Among them, for lithium-ion batteries and battery packs used in electronic and electrical products, CCC certification will be carried out for lithium-ion batteries and battery packs used in portable electronic products at this stage; for lithium-ion batteries and battery packs used in other electronic and electrical products, after conditions are ripe, CCC certification will be carried out in a timely manner.
　　
3. In view of the fact that GB31241-2022 “Technical Specifications for the Safety of Lithium-Ion Batteries and Batteries for Portable Electronic Products” will be mandatory on January 1, 2024, in order to reduce the cost of certification for enterprises, the designated certification body will carry out CCC certification of related products in accordance with this standard.
　　
4. Designated certification bodies and laboratories should actively adopt existing conformity assessment results on the premise of controllable certification risks and ensuring certification quality, reduce the burden on enterprises and facilitate enterprises to obtain certificates.
