For switches for wall-mounted control fixed appliances, IEC/EN 60669 generally does not have a Class II symbol, because this standard does not have the concept of strengthened insulation, and the related protection against electric shock and distance meet specific requirements.
　　
Of course, there are also special circumstances in the latest version of IEC/EN 60669-2-1: 2022. Additional markings according to IEC 61140 can only be used if the protection class is not dependent on the installation conditions.
　　
What can be used additionally according to IEC61140 can only be used if the protection level is independent of the installation conditions, that is, the electric shock protection level of the switch does not depend on the installation conditions. Then the relevant electric shock protection level can be identified according to IEC 61140.
　　
However, the electric shock protection of a general wall mounted switch depends on the installation conditions. For example, the terminals on the back are generally unlikely to have strengthened insulation or meet specific requirements and must be installed in the box. In addition, a general wall mounted switch must be removable. The cover plate can be removed, so it is difficult for the electric shock protection to directly meet Class II; therefore, in general, the Class II logo will not be marked, and the logo is as follows:
