in line with European standards
The Conformité Européenne (CE) mark is the European Union (EU) mandatory conformity mark for any product manufactured, imported or sold on the EU market.
The existence of the logo means that the product has passed the correct evaluation standards, meets the general requirements of safety, health and environmental protection, and can be put on the market
radio equipment directive
All electronic products complying with the Radio Equipment Directive (RED) require the Conformité Européenne (CE) mark. The directive applies to certification requirements for electronic equipment and radio equipment manufactured, imported or sold in the European Union (EU).
The directive ensures that products using radio technology comply with required frequency bands with specific power, bandwidth and duty cycles. This also means that the product can effectively utilize the radio spectrum. As technology has advanced over the years, the number of products operating using radio technology has grown exponentially, so regulations have been enforced to ensure proper inspections and balances are in place.
In addition to these measures, the directive was recently updated and now also governs technical features to protect privacy and personal data and prevent fraud. Other aspects include interoperability, access to emergency services, and compliance with products combined with radio equipment and software, such as certain artificial intelligence systems.
