According to the document CQC-C0201.02-2014 “Implementation Rules for Compulsory Product Certification Electrical Accessories-Plugs and Sockets for Household and Similar Purposes”, the quality control and testing requirements for household and similar Purposes Factory are as follows:

(1) Routine inspection is a 100% inspection of the products on the production line at the final stage of production. Usually, after inspection, no further processing is carried out except packaging and labeling. Confirmation inspection is a sampling inspection carried out to verify that the product continues to meet the requirements of the standard, and the confirmation test should be carried out in accordance with the provisions of the standard;

(2) Routine inspections are allowed to be carried out using equivalent and rapid methods determined after verification;

(3) During confirmation and inspection, if the factory does not have testing equipment, it may entrust a laboratory for testing.

Note:

1) The polarity inspection for routine inspection only requires testing for non-rewirable plugs, sockets and converters with polarity systems. See A.2 in Annex A of GB/T2099.1 standard for the test method.

2) The grounding continuity of routine inspection only needs to be tested for non-rewirable plugs, sockets and converters of polar systems. See A.3 in Annex A of GB/T2099.1 standard for the test method.

3) The electrical strength test does not require prior moisture treatment. The electrical strength test for routine inspections only tests non-rewirable plugs, sockets and converters with polar systems. Refer to A.4 in Annex A of GB/T2099.1 standard for the electrical strength test method for routine inspection. An electrical strength test is also required between the phase line (L) and the neutral line (N)(except for products with electronic components such as indicator lights and USB modules). The test method adopts A.4 in Annex A.

4) Only do it once for the same material and the same supplier. If the following supporting documents of “Requirements for Certification Documents for Non-Metallic Materials” can be provided, the confirmation inspection of this item can be exempted.

5) Production enterprises should have testing equipment that meets routine test requirements.
