The circulation of products is inseparable from the packaging and transportation of products, and the purpose of packaging and transportation testing is to improve the quality reliability of product packaging, thereby reducing the product damage rate caused by packaging problems during transportation. Packaging and transportation simulation test is to simulate various hazards to packaging during transportation in the laboratory. Conducting experiments in accordance with corresponding standards can foresee possible damage to packaging parts during transportation in advance, which can facilitate identification of design defects and existing risks in product packaging, and then improve and improve the packaging.

In the “GB/T 4857.4-2008 Packaging, Transport Packages Basic Tests-Part 4: Compression and Stacking Test Methods Using Pressure Testing Machines” standard, the test sample is placed between two parallel pressing plates of the testing machine, and one of the following methods can be used for testing as needed.

a) In the case of a compression test, apply pressure until the test specimen is damaged or reaches predetermined load and displacement values.

b) In the case of a stacking test, apply a predetermined load until the test sample is damaged or continues for a predetermined time.
