New Taiwan’s BSMI Standards and Replaced Standards
　　
Taiwan’s new BSMI certification:
　　
For new applications, products can now be tested against new standards.
　　

Customers have the option to test according to current standards, but the certificate is only valid for three (3) years (when the certificate expires). If a customer wishes to update the certificate, it will need to be retested in accordance with the new standard within the three-year validity period.
　　
Internal power supplies also need to be certified through new standards. If the power supply passes previous standards, the certificate will expire on December 31, 2023.
　　
Taiwan’s BSMI certificate update:
　　
Before January 1, 2024, Taiwan’s BSMI certificate can be updated to the original standard without additional testing.
　　
After January 1, 2024, Taiwan’s BSMI certificate updates require additional testing of the new Taiwan BSMI standard
