Zimbabwe CBCA Conformity Inspection, referred to as CBCA, is an authorization by the Ministry of Industry and Commerce of Zimbabwe to Bureau Veritas as the exclusive third-party agency to implement the CBCA project. In fact, CBCA is another name for compliance testing. In compliance with World Trade Organization procedures and relevant regulations, the project will start on May 16, 2015 (based on the date of the bill of lading). The Ministry of Industry and Commerce of Zimbabwe issued a cargo certification evaluation plan on March 23, 2015. According to the provisions of the CBCA plan, starting from May 16, 2015, all goods exported to Zimbabwe must undergo product certification before being off-shore. Recognized products include: food and agricultural products, skin care products, etc.

The product categories involved in the CBCA program include: food and agricultural products, construction and civil engineering materials, wood and wood products, petroleum and fuels, packaging materials, electrical and electronic products, skin care products, automotive and transportation industry products, clothing and textiles, engineering equipment, mechanical equipment, toys, etc.
