This new evaluation scheme is for all goods exported to Burundi under the catalog and aims to ensure that products exported to Burundi meet the corresponding Burundi and international standards. The primary goals of the plan are:

Ensure that products comply with technical regulations and mandatory standards applicable to Burundi (or their equivalent)

Ensure the requirements of Burundi consumers in terms of product quality, health and safety, environmental protection, etc.

3 Prevent substandard goods and counterfeit goods from entering Burundi

4 Promote trade and commerce and implement corresponding compliance assessment procedures in accordance with Article 5 of Technical Barriers to Trade (TBT/WTO)

Information required to be prepared to apply for the Burundi COC customs clearance certificate:

1. Packing List: PackingList

2. Form FP: ProformInvoice

3. Product test report: If there is already a test report, it is not necessary to repeat the test, except for those that require sampling testing.

4. COC application form: Blank application form shall be provided by the handling agency
